French house producer Tchami has decided to bless us with a remix of "Promesses"—a storming rework from grime and bassline don, Preditah. It's pretty clear Tchami knows what makes a good remix pop. He's already made a name for himself with standout remixes of Oliver $ and Jimi Jules' "Pushing On" and AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It", so it should come as no surprise that he's drafted in another remix expert for this.
Here, Birmingham's Preditah adds another notch to his CV with this pounding bassline of refix. The soulful house vibes of the original, featuring Kaleem Taylor, are kept in place for the refrain but is later smashed in the face with Preditah's chest-rattling bass licks. "Promesses" will be released through Ministry of Sound on January 4, 2015. Listen to Predz's remix below.
