Mikos Da Gawd has been percolating on the interwebs with his own developing brand of beats. He's had a release on Soulection, works with his childhood homey Mr. Carmack regularly, and just generally has been on his shit with the beats. This week though Mikos pulled it together and put out a crazy 16-track mixtape of bootlegs, edits, and originals to make up "Caffeine Vol. 1" The result includes previously released tracks like Mikos' take on Lauryn Hill's classic "Doo Wop (That Thing)" and versions of Tinashe's "2 On," 50 Cent's "21 Questions," and a grip more. So when you do listen to this, there are a few things that you should take away: first, Mikos is a dope producer with a bright future ahead. Secondly, Mikos has pretty much immaculate taste in hip-hop. Thirdly, you need to share the good tunes with the homies and put them on to this caffeine right here.
