Don't act like you're mad at this. Aside from the fact that we've seen Kendrick Lamar appear on songs by Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons, Mayer Hawthorne, Emeli Sande, and Tame Impala (so don't come at me with the whole "Kendrick is hip-hop and this is a disgrace" troll shit), this is the mash-up that the Internet has been demanding for days now. It happened with The Beatles x Migos "Jumpin' Like Jordan" remix, and it's happened again, courtesy of mash-up pros The Hood Internet.

Don't believe me? Videos of Taylor Swift rapping along to "Backseat Freestyle" and of Kendrick rapping on top of "Shake It Off" went viral—this song is just the final piece to the puzzle that nobody asked for, but the Internet actively yearned for.

And it's not bad either! In fact, The Hood Internet took the strongest elements of "Backseat Freestyle" and "Shake It Off"—Kendrick's prophetic rapping, Hit-Boy's clanking chimes, "Shake It Off"'s up-beat "Everything is Awesome" tone—and weaves them together in a perfectly listenable manner. Personally, this is the only version of either song I need, but for the rest of you, know that this isn't horrible. It's what you wanted.
