Cavalier is one that I'm admittedly late on, and ten seconds into his "IDFWU" remix, I knew that I would be scolding myself for taking so long to notice as a 16-year-old has been casually and consistently killing absolutely everything he's touching. The aforementioned tune is bouncy, hood, fun that subtly shows his depth, and the quick OG Maco vocal chop was a classy touch that most producers his age couldn't pull off if they even thought about it. It only takes a brief moment to immediately tell that there's something deeper to this kid, and I decided to poke a bit on this Long Beach resident in an effort to see how much of his work I could snag.
Though he's uploaded nearly three-dozen tunes, not very many of them are downloadable. We'll be sure to round back next month to put our ears to his forthcoming album, which includes features by Fifty Grand, Night Lovell, GRXGVR, and Dirty Chocolate, who he's already worked with several times and has proven to click perfectly with.
