Rwina sure knows how to pick 'em; the latest heater from the camp that's brought us producers like EPROM is the four-track Temples EP from Torus, a producer from The Netherlands who you might have seen drop a dope release on Sonic Router. Something about the cool, dreamy aspects of his production that's hooked me instantly. Temples is the type of hype I like to mob to, especially with the weather dropping, and for this week's Five Tracks, Torus dropped a sly selection of bits that you can no-doubt hear in the tunes below.
Rome Fortune - "No Drugs Anymore"
Someone make sure Rome Fortune doesn't do any more drugs & do more work with Suicideyear cause this track is firreeee.
Little Cloud - "You"
Songs always hit me when they carry a lot of emotion. I think I fuck with all the little cloud songs on her SoundCloud, I decided to pick this one though cause It's off of homey Ryan Hemsworth's weblabel Secret Songs and I really support the shit that they are doing. Shout out to Little Cloud and twin brother Ryan.
Teyana Taylor - "Maybe (Instrumental)"
I could do an endless list with only rap instrumentals actually, but decided to just stick with this one, this jam is so fuckin fiirreeeee. The rap game is killing it at the moment. There are probably a whole bunch of people that don't agree with me on that, though.
Palmistry - "Wind Water"
Been fucking with Palmistry for a minute, his sound is so cool and his vox are so true and real, plus I'm always down for sad romantic lovestory lyrics too actually. This just dropped a couple of days ago, but my iTunes count is legit already on 30 I can send you a screenshot if you don't believe me.
Scoop - "Drop It"
I played this anthem at Boiler Room the other day in the middle of my live show, I'm not sure if anyone fucked with it cause my back was towards the crowd but I was turning up.
