The Social Experiment, a four-person group consisting of Chance The Rapper, Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale and Nate Fox, is preparing for the release of their debut album Surf and have released the first single titled "Sunday Candy." Following their feel-good remake of the Arthur theme from a few months ago, "Sunday Candy" is light and carefree as Chance uses his raspy singing voice to describe the sweetness of a new relationship.
"Sunday Candy" pays homage to gospel greats and the constantly building chorus sounds amazing and uplifting. Donnie Trumpet, who gets top billing on the album's title, is a star on this song as he shows off his jazzy trumpet skills which compliment Chance's rapid fire singing and rapping.
