Twin Shadow Gets Ready For the Warehouse Of Horrors With These Five Scary Films

With Halloween upon us, there are two things we are in need of: a place to party and some freaky movies. BangOn!NYC's "Warehouse Of Horrors" is going down on Halloween night. This extravaganza takes place in a secret warehouse in Brooklyn that's currently sold out and will have circus and freakshow performers, a tattoo artist, 3D video-mapped art, a haunted house, carnival rides, a blood-seaked demon, and the likes of Break Science, Space Jesus, Purple Disco Machine's U.S. debut, and Twin Shadow, who recently collaborated with Zeds Dead on "Lost You."

Twin Shadow will probably have a field day; the Brooklyn-based 4AD artist recently hit us up with a list of his scariest films, and he didn't go with generics. If you're a fan of cinema, or just want to be disturbed or frightened, you'll enjoy his picks. Cop tickets ASAP (before they truly sell out), hit up "Warehouse Of Horrors" tomorrow night, then spend the early morning hours getting the shit scared out of you to these truly scary films.

This film is one of the hardest things I've ever watched. Not only is it brutally realistic, it actually embodies what I believe to be pure human chaos and hatred. That's the scariest shit there is.

This is one of the last scary movies I actually went to the theater to see. On a big screen this movie does such an amazing job of freaking you out, it practically turns a movie theater into a dark cave.

I think at a time when gore wasn't having a strong effect on the pulse of an audience, this movie got inside your head and under your skin by making the gore grittier. I think blood and dirt when I remember this movie. It arguably is responsible for bringing back the zombie genre with such force (I know they are technically not zombies but)... Fast zombies are scary.
