At this point, it can be assumed that everything that 24-year old Londoner Mat Zo makes tends to feel like the freshest and biggest sound in the world. Following in a string of genre-hopping madness, the producer still doesn't settle down, opting for the melodic pop/trap/Bollywood/grime of new release "Ruffneck Bad Boy." There's not a dancehall-ready rhyme-spitter here, though. R&B vocals guide the track's top line, while an undulating core spits out occasional melodies that turn up, throw shapes, and engage in belly dancing body rolls, too. However, the general response is going to be head-bopping and leaping into the air, this one feeling like the peak-hour release of a track that a now-festival veteran like Mat Zo needs to keep his sound and style ahead of the game and fresh in the mind of party promoters worldwide. With an expected release date of November 17, this one will have the steam rising off revelers throughout the winter months for certain.
