Isn’t it awesome when a great EP is followed up with a great remix EP? Pelican Fly released Lido’s debut I Love You EP earlier this summer and now today, we finally got that great remix EP. DJ Hoodboi and Para One have previously let theirs out, and now they’re joined by Obey City, Lindsay Lowend, and HeavyxMellow. Lowend’s remix is of particular note with it’s slowed, low key 8-bit funk. Lowend has been honing on a sound so specific and focused that it’s great to see him apply it to another artist’s sound and balance the two so gracefully. Cop the remix EP today.
