We're in a place right now where there's plenty of deep house to listen to. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great development on the classic house sound, but there's a real danger it can all start to merge into one sound if the writing doesn't have enough individuality. Anjunabeats' sister label Anjunadeep is doing a solid job of pushing promising new artists, and they have definitely got it right with their latest release, which dropped today. "Crash Reel" is the new single from UK producers Journeyman, who impressed with their debut EP Spend It All. This track is smooth and sassy–a vocal-led number that fuses subtle chords and chiming beats. If Journeyman deliver more sounds like this in the future, they'll become firm label favorites in no time.
