Back in April, we spoke with François K about Deep Space's 11-year history, and it looks like the NYC bass music staple is looking to take things further and farther. Sunday afternoon, word broke that they pulled a major coup, with Jamie xx being added to tonight's Deep Space session. For those that don't know, The xx member has been hard at work on his debut solo album; he's already an acclaimed DJ, producer, and remixer, so we know this is going to be a treat. While there's no word on when we can officially expect this project, he's dropped a couple of well-received singles, including "Sleep Sound" and the massive "All Under One Roof Raving." We would highly recommend that all androids in the NYC area that love their bass music and forward-thinking sounds grab tickets for tonight's event ASAP. As you can see, there is free admission and complimentary vodka cocktails with e-flyer (above) if you enter the club before 11PM; Deep Space is advising to get there early; doors open at 10PM.
