I always love when I hear samples that were flipped in hip-hop tracks getting mention in the dance music world. I wasn't the biggest fan of Common's "Go!," primarily because I prefer my Common more biting and less lovey dovey. That's just me. That Linda Lewis sample was flipped so beautifully, I couldn't help but be open, but now Jamie Prado's sorted out a soulful house take on that same snippet with "Gold Bar." This is all kinds of sexy, for those who like sipping martinis and getting dolled up for exquisite nights out. It has enough bounce to make scuffing up those crispy shoes an issue, but you won't care because you'll be too busy sitting on cloud 9. Free download to boot.
