Maybe it's just me, but I'm forever fascinated by what goes on in the studios of my favorite producers. I've been a fan of Fracture's for a while; his tune "Colemanism" with Neptune is a personal favorite. He's seen a resurgence as of late with the rise of the juke/footwork sound, and FACT recently called on him to test his production acumen in their "Against The Clock" series. This one is a bit different; he spent 10 minutes in a record shop getting records (reminiscent of Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette" series), then Fracture took bits from those records and made the track you hear down below. Crazy to see him pairing some beatbox clicks with a funky breakbeat, all to create a two-minute track. It's loose, it's fun, and hopefully you producer androids are inspired to churn out something.
