Listen to Danny L Harle's "In My Dreams"

PC Music have done it again.

None

The highly contentious PC Music have gone and done it again. Often criticised for their shameless love of syrupy pop hooks and Euro house nods, the label has another release in the pipeline in the form of Danny L Harle's "In My Dreams". The track makes heavy use of a xylophone and a tinny house melody as an unsurprisingly bizarre counter to his recent "Broken Flowers" release for the label.

Fans of PC Music will no doubt be prepared for what's in store: a silly melody, a kitsch Euro house sample, and some high-pitched vocals. So, detractors of the label should probably steer well clear because that is exactly what this track is about. The jury's out on the exactly how many layers of irony this sits under but, assuming it's none, this is an unabashed jaunt of fun melodies and hands-in-the-air silliness.
