It was bound to happen, right? Eric Prydz has gone a while with his PRYDA imprint, allowing that label to be a home for his productions, letting the likes of Fehrplay and Jeremy Olander get co-signs via his Pryda Friends imprint. We received word that Jackie, Jeremy Olander's first original material since 2013's "Bandersnatch," will be the first non-Eric Prydz release on PRYDA. It's actually the ultimate co-sign; think of it as being a kid and knowing that you can't sit in a certain chair because that's your father's favorite chair. Then after seeing you grow and mature, pops allows you to rest in his throne. It makes sense—Olander's been under Prydz's tutelage since 2011, and has shown that he's a force to be reckoned with, and with Jackie and his support role for Prydz's forthcoming EPIC 3.0 show at Madison Square Garden on September 27, it looks like the Stockholm, Sweden-based Olander's stock will truly be rising.

Jackie is out on September 29, but you can preview the three tunes down below. While the electro-charged "DLIGTY" is more my speed, I have a feeling the title track will have heads going crazy. It's a solid release through-and-through, though, and seems to nail the progressive side while still keeping things thumping.
