DAD linking up with the mighty Ultra Music for a premiere on Labor Day you say? I say why not, because this tune from David Vrong (who's ironically on Ultra with less than 250 SoundCloud followers and 650 Facebook likes) is blistering and an absolute club banger on the "almost" electro tip. I say "almost" because electro is fairly dead to me and generally out of ideas. But lucky for all of us, "Breaking Out" is certainly not anything remotely close to tired and played out. The gritty Boys Noize-inspired lead synth will cut right through your skin and the Ruff Ryders-inspired keyboard horn action is kind of the brilliant icing on the cake. While this blazingly hot single is out tomorrow, I'm still scratching my head on how Ultra's A&R found this kid. That story may unfold at some point of course. For now, we've got a a complete winner in "Breaking Out" to start rinsing on repeat.
