Lifetime Found Its Timbaland and Missy Elliott For the Aaliyah Biopic and Twitter Is Pissed

As Lifetime continues to push forward with the controversial Aaliyah biopic, they have begun their search for a supporting cast. A network representative told TheWrap that they have casted Chattrisse Dolabaille and Izaak Smith in the roles of Missy Elliott and Timbaland, respectively. Missy and Timbo were mentors in Aaliyah's career, and together they worked on her second album, One In A Million. Dolabille is a Canadian singer, actress, and dancer who would be making her Hollywood debut, while Smith has appeared in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and was a contender on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

As you can see above, neither Dolabille nor Smith look particularly like Elliott or Timbo. Naturally, Twitter is freaking out. Here are some of the highlights from #LifetimeCastings.
