During the MTV Video Music Awards rehearsal in Los Angeles last night, one of Nicki Minaj's backup dancers was bit by a 6-foot-long snake that according to TMZ. She's gearing up to perform her latest single, "Anaconda" at the show this Sunday and may finally be the first person to give Britney Spears a run for her money by performing onstage with a snake.
MTV News is reporting that the snake is a "Dumeril’s boa constrictor who has been in the entertainment business for 15 years," and bit the woman on the inside of her left arm. The snake was immediately removed from the stage by its handler and the woman was taken to a local hospital out of “an abundance of caution."
