If you've been paying attention to R&B and hip-hop radio stations, Jeremih and YG's "Don't Tell 'Em" has been stuck in your head. That combination of infectious bassline and the "rhythm is a dancer" sung in the hook are just too hypnotic to deny. On the flipside, France's Alesia have quietly been on merk mode, doing everything from remixing Dog Blood and M.I.A. to making ill statements with their original material. I recently shared my uncut conversation with Skrillex, who said that Alesia's "new shit" is "insane," and this flip of "Don't Tell 'Em" might be proof positive of that. They kept that hook in tact, but beefed up the proceedings with an even more mesmerizing bassline, coupled with some club-shaking vibes. It's a big bodied remix by people who still appreciate the original. This could soundtrack the latter half of your summer.
