Oh, Internets. Back in May, we got hype on this site for Lookas' remix of War's "Low Rider," and for good reason. We're suckers for solid trap tracks, especially when they re-imagine classic tunes. The way that melody is flipped over the drop is kind of memorable, which would appeal to someone like Flo Rida, who loves to hit the club with tunes you won't soon forget. The problem is, when you see someone like Flo Rida, who's been called out by Diplo in the past for possibly jacking ideas, rapping over tracks you've been turning up to without credit being thrown, people will get aggy. Hence the brief dust-up about Flo Rida possibly jacking Lookas' War remix for his new single, "GDFR." Check out both tunes:

Now before things got too hairy, Lookas spoke out, saying that he actually has co-producer credits on the track:

With no word on producer credits on the SoundCloud that's housing the Flo Rida track, you can't help people pointing fingers, but then again, we're not sure of when this co-producer credit was blessed upon Lookas. Hell, Infinity Ink had a similar situation where they let Flo Rida sample one of their basslines. Whatever the case may be, this is one case that seems to be closed. Props to Lookas; hopefully you get some fat checks off of this Flo Rida track, assuming it blows up.
