Drake and Lil Wayne weren't able to attend the MTV VMAs on Sunday due to their ongoing "Drake vs. Lil Wayne" tour, but they did take time out of last night's show so Drizzy could give his acceptance speech. Wayne presented him the award for "Best Hip-Hop Video," and Drake accepted the accolade and proceeded to thank God, his mother, and remind the crowd that "Hold On, We're Going Home" is not actually a hip-hop song and that he tricked them all.
"Rappers, better luck next year," Drake said.
