Listen to Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dev Hynes & Sampha's Arrestingly Beautiful "A Kiss Goodbye"

Could this be the start of a new super-group? We do hope so.

None

Featuring a cluster of special talents, super-producer Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, Kanye West) steps forward with one of the most arrestingly beautiful tracks that will have you all in your feelings for the rest of the week. Written and produced by Haynie, “A Kiss Goodbye” opens with Dev Hynes on guitar, joined by the melancholic tones of Charlotte Gainsbourg for the first half.

Reaching an emotional nadir at the mid-way point, Sampha is introduced and lays bare the angst of love gone wrong, as he croons: “Did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I did/ Did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I could/So I’m not cool with you/ I’m done, I’m done, I’m done.” (Yet another example of why the Drake and Beyoncé collaborator has fast become one of the most acclaimed new acts to emerge from these shores).

Okay, so we’re speaking this into existence now: we want a full-length project between these names to happen. An EP, at the very least. Thanks in advance!
