Contrary to reports from Hot 97, Miss Info is now reporting that Remy Ma hasn't been released from jail just yet. Remy was convicted of assault, illegal weapon possession, and attempted coercion in 2008 following a shooting at a Manhattan nightclub in 2007. She appealed the ruling in 2011, but was ultimately denied by the judge and ordered to finish out her prison sentence. In an interview with Angie Martinez earlier this month, Remy talked about her plans for once she gets out and revealed that she has plenty of new music on the way, and gave major props to Nicki Minaj on what she's been releasing, as well.

UPDATE: Remy's release from prison has reportedly been delayed, according to Miss Info. Remy was reportedly involved in a disciplinary issue on July 21 which has delayed her release until a later date, according to Revolt. We will continue to update this story as more details are made available.
UPDATE 2: According to Miss Info, Remy Ma was released from prison at 3 p.m. today and picked up by her husband Papoose. Remy confirmed the news on her Instagram with the simple message that read, "I'm back."
UPDATE 8/1/14 10:54 PM: A few hours after Remy Ma posted her "I'm back" Instagram picture, her husband Papoose shared a photo of the rapper sitting in a white Lamborghini. This is the first photo of Remy Ma since she has been released from prison.
