Few acts have excited me in 2014 like Lane 8. The American DJ and his melodic style of Balearic inspired deep house and indie-dance songs have struck a chord across the dance hemisphere as well and he has thus far gotten support from tastemaking radio DJs like Pete Tong, Zane Lowe, Mistajam, B.Traits and artist DJs like Eric Prydz, Tensnake, Kidnap Kid, and of course Above & Beyond. Now this week he's got his latest single, "I Got What You Need (Every Night)" and as the title actually says, it is actually exactly what you need. Though the original instrumental version will still be the favorite for many, including myself, this additional vocal version with Bipolar Sunshine brings an indie dance flair that'll no doubt make it more accessible to those who are just getting into the house scene and looking for something for their pool party vibes. It's the sort of track that can get a bunch of people going without them actually having to know and appreciate how good this actually is. However you may feel. though, this is a track you probably won't be able to escape for the next long little while.
