First things first, Craig David is fucking ripped now. His entire Instagram page is filled with photos of him sweating in workout T-shirts. But for someone so conscious of their health, David's new comeback single, "Cold," is pretty damn hilarious because it compares love to... drugs. And not the bodybuilding kind.
David sings about a girl being an "instant lover, like a hit of MDMA." We're not going to school you on drugs here but MDMA is rarely "instant" and we're assuming he means that he wants her badly, because when people are on MDMA, they are essentially human boners.
And, like Noisey UK pointed out, David has spent the last few years awkwardly freestyle/beat-boxing over Drake tracks. So, this is an upgrade. And if anyone can sing about MDMA and sound beautifully out of touch with it, the Booty Man can.
