Let his video for "Shoutout" be a formal introduction to one of Boston's most promising up-and-coming artists, Cousin Stizz. Doubling as the release of a previously unheard track, the Goodwin-directed visual finds the charismatic creative showcasing smooth flows and a unique cadence that places weight on each line's concluding word.

Stizz freely rides around his home city with the top down and a point to prove. Born and raised in Dorchester, one of the city's rougher neighborhoods, Stizz shares a friendship with Boston hip-hop's leading man of the moment, Michael Christmas. Infused with melody, Stizz's delivery fits the shimmering, laid-back beat courtesy of NYC-based producer OBeatz.

He's currently finishing his debut mixtape, Suffolk County, which is set to drop later this summer. If the three singles already released from that record are any indication, the project is likely to make a serious impact. Listen to his previous two singles "Fireman" and "Life" over on his SoundCloud, and watch "Shoutout" above.
