Rudimental, Oneman, Untold, and Simian Mobile Disco Lead the British Invasion of Output This May

If you want to go out in New York and just straight up dance, just get enveloped in sound and not worry about anything else, your best bet might be Output in Brooklyn. It's dark, there's usually a good crowd of music lovers, and most importantly the soundsystem is heavy.

If you want to go out in New York and just straight up dance, just get enveloped in sound and not worry about anything else, your best bet might be Output in Brooklyn. It's dark, there's usually a good crowd of music lovers, and most importantly the soundsystem is heavy.

Their booking is consistently solid, but May is an especially good month, with Output welcoming a veritable who's who of British talent from across the genres. Two of the tightest DJs out, two guys who have made their name without releasing their own music, purely off the back off their impeccable selection are both playing, as Oneman (May 7 with Jerome LOL, Dre Skull, and Jubilee) and Ben UFO (May 31 with Seth Troxler) start and finish the month.

On a forward thinking house and techno tip, Joy Orbison plays on May 8 while Untold comes through with a very special live set, supported by a man who has released some of the most interesting electronic music of the last five years, Hessle Audio's Pearson Sound on May 18.

Long time stalwarts Simian Mobile Disco will come to Output on May 22, but if you have any friends who don't "get" dance music, you should take them to the Black Butter Records night that Rudimental headlines on May 29—it's sure to be filled with big, bassy house and huge hooks that everyone can enjoy.

See the full May schedule and buy tickets for all the events on Output's website.
