When I see Machinedrum is on a track with Theophilus London, my interest is piqued. When I see it's neither of their tracks but rather they're only pieces of it, I'm even more interested. Enter Jesse Boykins III. According to I-D magazine's SoundCloud (which is where this new track premiered), Boykins is the "creator of what he likes to call world soul" and honestly while we're not sure if that's entirely the case, we don't really care. "Tell Me" is a delightfully tasteful tune that brings together much of today's trends with the warm and crispy future bass beat, the heady raps and the soulful tender croons. This is the sort of track you just can't help play over and over again because it hits you in all the right spots.
