Back in February, Jerome LOL let us know that he and Samo Sound Boy were working on a DJ Dodger Stadium album, and it looks like the wait is finally over. Friend Of Mine is a 10-track opus that's set to hit Body High on July 8, and will be the first full-length album on the imprint (an imprint that was birthed three years ago to put out DJ Dodger Stadium's Stadium Status EP). With "Love Songs" being the opening salvo, we have a feeling we're in for a true treat. The press release tells of Friend Of Mine providing "the story of a wounded soul's search for redemption and peace." You can hear the pain and search for the path to getting better in this tune alone, and all I can hope is that this theme is build upon throughout the full album.
