When it comes to moombahton anything that isn't merely a dembow with a blippy Dutch house synth slapped over it will forever stand out to me for going against the grain; to me, it's songs like these that keep the genre alive and well and evolving. This song "Enfermo" by Mexican artist Billion Dollars is definitely a song indicative of this notion, it delivers a massiveness that you'd find in a moombahcore tune but without the dubstep wubs that have been driven into the ground. The song is extremely dynamic going from moombahcore vibes, to some impactful 808s creating a hip-hop vibe, and back; it's immensely intriguing and ultimately refreshing. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Billion Dollars to see what they come up with next, I suggest you do the same.
