The vibe of the record changes with Christ switching out Dun Deal's gritty backdrop for one that feels like it could start a mosh pit.
Additionally, in his cover story on Self-Titled,Evian explains what Kanye's got in the bag for his upcoming album. “I’ve got to get home and write an Otis Redding–style beat for him,” Evian said int he story. “He e-mailed last night. He wants something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep.”
