Pomo's win streak doesn't look to be stopping any time soon. This young and immensely talented kid from Montreal flips Tinashe's "Vulnerable", which we've heard a number of remixes of already, and steers the slow R&B jam into midtempo new school funk driven gold. Basically, Pomo is helping lead this slow house thing with hip hop drums along with Kaytranada. But it's beginning to feel like the copycats are about to come flocking to the party. I hope they don't ruin things because Pomo clearly deserves to fully pop. I also hope we don't lose sight of who was really making this sound break through in the first place because I can sense the watering down coming. But it is 2014, and this is the Internet.
