Tension seems to be brewing between Suge Knight and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith over dollar signs. In a recent interview on The Arsenio Hall Show, Knight described Kendrick Lamar and Game's label deals as "slavery," claiming artist these days are getting less and less money for their music and touring.

Knight elaborated on the subject in an interview with BET yesterday by breaking down how finances are distributed by labels, managers, and artists. "Not only do these companies get the royalties and the publishing, if [the artist] do a show and $100,000 come in, the managers of the guys I'm saying who run the record company gets 20 percent. Now it's $80,000. Kendrick gets half, the record company gets half, which is ridiculous."

"If you can't live off your tour money how can you survive by being a slave?" Suge continues. "It's not fair for the two niggas in Compton to be getting fucked. And it's not good for me to have knowledge and don't pass it on to them."

Tiffith responded to Knight's comments earlier today on Twitter, questioning Knight's knowledge of their situation with Interscope. His tweet can be read below.
