On the low, Stray has been one of my favorite figures in electronic music... in part because of "Eazy Boy." I first heard him tease this during his Matchsticks EP promo mix, then a bit more during his FABRICLIVE mix from January. During a recent FACT interview, Stray spoke on his views of getting back to incorporating more of a hip-hop flex into his electronic productions, and this is a perfect example of that head-nod/neck-snap flavor being incorporated. With the gritty bassline and those chopped-to-fuck vocals? I could kiss the sub woofer if it wasn't rabbit-punching me. This is taken from his Chatterbox EP, which actually drops tomorrow on Exit Records. This will be the anthem to whatever I'm doing that involves screwfaces and gut punches for this spring.
