If you don't know who P. Reign is yet you need to get familiar. He's from the Toronto area—well, the Kingston-Galloway (G-way) area of Scarborough—and he got a huge shout out from Drake on his "We Made It" freestyle, but don't expect him to rest on just an OVO co-sign. Last year, P. Reign collaborated with A$AP Rocky on "We Them Niggas" and the buzz around his upcoming album Dear America landed him a spot on on our 15 Artists To Watch Out For in 2014.
In the video above, P. Reign takes fans on a mini tour around his hood and discusses his past, what he's working on now, and what he's got on deck for 2014. He also talks about his crew, Reps-Up, which has been connected to Drake's OVO crew but also stands alone as its own record label. Dear America drops on June 17.
