Freddie Gibbs and Madlib took the stage at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California last night to perform songs from their new album Piñata and rock a sold out crowd. Turns out, they weren't the only ones who wanted the spotlight.

During the show, a female fan got on stage expecting to crowd surf, but what she got instead was no love from the crowd. The video above shows her lining up for the stage dive, jumping, and then falling straight to the floor. Gibbs had to laugh off the incident, leaving the Instagram caption, "This bitch jumped in the crowd last night and the crowd parted like the Red Sea. #ESGN LOL." There's a lesson to be learned here, and it's one she likely won't forget.

Next week, Freddie Gibbs will be joining Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, and more on the Independent Grind Tour. Expect to see a lot more stage diving, but hopefully not ones of this caliber. Dates for the tour are listed on Gibbs' official website.
