A day after dropping his "Draft Day" freestyle during a reasonable time frame, Drake is back to "owl hours" as he releases his new record "Days in the East" in the middle of the night. The track is produced by Party Next Door and 40, who lace Drizzy with a moody backdrop that puts the Toronto rapper in a pensive state of mind. Or maybe he chose this specific beat for a reason, as he raps/sings cryptically about a girl in his life who he holds dearly despite past issues. He even recounts a recent meet-up with Erykah Badu, who offered him advice on love. "Remember one night I went to Erykah Badu house, she made tea for me/We talked about love and what life could really be for me/She said, 'When that shit is real you just know."

There's only a shortlist of women that Drake could possibly be referencing here. And no, Jennifer Lawrence is not one of them. Check out "Days in the East" below.
