At DAD, while we do have our own particular slants and lanes, one thing we've tried to show (by doing) is that the electronic music scene is all about balance. That's why we chuckle when folks think our site is one kind of sound or style. We make it a point to cover everything from the biggest in electro house to the most underground of footwork or other genres. One person who shares this mentality against being narrow-minded is Rising Music's Chris Lake, who recently posted a quick rant on his Facebook page about the "disturbing" "lack of tolerance shown for each others parts of the scene." It's an interesting argument, and one we hope more fans are having. Not to say that one can't like one particular style of dance music, but that doesn't mean you need to hold down someone else's taste because they happen to love a scene you don't associate with.
