YC The Cynic released GNK last August, but today, he has decided to rework one of the standout songs off the album, "The Heaviest Cross." For "The Heaviest Cross 2.0," the Bronx native recruits Homeboy Sandman, who delves into a stream-of-conscious verse about what it means to have integrity in the underground rap game. "So then a million people listen to Sand/But everyone thinks they're the only one who's heard of me," he says. YC ends the song off by delivering a blistering verse over a stripped-down version of the Frank Drake instrumental that fades to near-nothingness several times.
