A third person has been confirmed deceased after the hit and run early Thursday AM at SXSW. The Austin Statesman reports Sandy Le has passed away this Monday morning. She was last reported in critical condition.

Last week, the car driver, Rashad Owens, was formally charged with one count of capital murder, the highest criminal charge you can be given in the state of Texas. He initially faced two counts, after the two initial fatalities were reported, and 23 counts of aggravated assault. It was later clarified that only 22 people were transported after the car crash, as opposed to the original 23.
