SAYER is a producer from Oakland that's caught my interest with his production. He's averaging around 1000 plays per tune, yet everything he's putting his hands on is nuts. His sound and style are maturing at a ridiculous rate, and it's been truly fun to watch. But as one of the people deep in the trenches pushing trap records last year, it's hard to impress me with the genre. "Grind Mode" is undeniable, dropping into a robot vox that's absolutely mean, then note progression built to make your brain explode.
