Nas performed this weekend at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as part of the Hip-Hop World Festival. Backed by National Symphony Orchestra, he performed his seminal debut album, Illmatic, in its entirety. Dressed in a crisp suit, the Queens native showcased the evolution of hip-hop while bringing fans back to his roots, as he celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Illmatic.
