A week after vowing that The Carter V would be his last album and that the only way he'd make another is if he got "$25 million-$35 million," Lil Wayne today said he has a batch of new material that's ready to be released. In an interview with Rap Radar's Elliott Wilson, Wayne announced that Cortez would be picking his upcoming single this week and that fans should expect to hear it next week as well. What that means, who knows. But hopefully for fans who have been hungry to hear new material, Lil Wayne makes good on his declaration.
