Kentucky's Devine Carama presents a balance in hip-hop that is refreshing and needed. His latest project, The Dream Walker, is inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr., and does more than just give a window-dressing to MLK Jr.'s dream. Instead, the Kentucky native uses soulful, boom-bap production to internalize these progressive ideas and examine where things stand in society currently. Raw beats, raw rhymes... Sometimes simple is good enough.
