Listen to Blue, the Misfit's New Record "Drugs on the Schoolyard" Featuring Kendrick Lamar

Off his upcoming project Child in the Wild.

Budding producer Blue, the Misfit has spent the majority of his career crafting beats for other rappers, but now the Dallas native is planning to release his own project Child in the Wild, which will showcase both his skills behind the soundboard and on the microphone.

The first record off that is "Drugs on the Schoolyard," an enchanting down south-inspired collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. Over a haunting melody, the two dwell on the issues that plague the inner cities, delivering honest raps with an edge. The connect between Misfit and Kendrick isn't completely out the blue here, as Misfit has worked with the Compton rapper and his TDE crew in the past, most notably on "P&P" and ScHoolboy Q's "To Tha Beat."

Blue, the Misfit's Child in the Wild will be released in April. Check out "Drugs on the Schoolyard" below, and enjoy the trippy artwork above, created by Lee Android.
