On February 28, 1996, at the 38th Grammy Awards, Naughty by Nature's 1995 album Poverty's Paradise won the first Grammy for Best Rap Album. The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 Chart and number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. The hit single from the album "Feel Me Flow" peaked at the 17th spot on Billboard's Hot 100.
