There are many events in rap history that are either unknown or forgotten, from album releases to deaths to random ass events most of us can't even recall. As an attempt to remember those moments, Complex will share an event that helped shape hip-hop in a sometimes minor, sometimes major way. Join us as we look back on This Day in Rap History.
February 13, 2004
On February 13, 2004, Loon was at a Lil Jon show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Loon and his boys wanted to get on stage, and as they were rushing the stage, a bouncer was stabbed in the chaos. After the police locked down the place, Loon and two of his friends were identified by witnesses and Loon was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon. All of this just so him and his crew could get turnt with Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz. When the case went to court it was thrown out for lack of evidence.
