Rihanna blames poor accounting on causing her to go "effectively bankrupt" by the end of 2009. In legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the singer says that her accountant at the time grossly mismanaged her earnings and within the year, her cash reserve went from $11 million to a paltry $2 million.

The singer says her accountant allowed her to overspend, purchasing a house for around $7 million and later selling it for only $2 million. Additionally, she was not informed that her Last Girl on Earth Tour was running at a loss in 2009.

These revelations come after Rihanna sued her accountants for millions in losses in 2012.
