After teasing the film last month, Red Bull Music Academy has released What Difference Does It Make? A Film About Making Music, a documentary detailing their 2013 residency in NYC. RMBA flies in musicians from around the globe to study and hone their craft, as well as provide a music and culture program throughout the city. Last year's included conversations with influential artists, as well as a screening of rare hip-hop documentaries hosted by egotrip, a sound clash, and many other exclusive performances.
What Difference Does it Make?, directed by Raf Schmerberg, catalogues last year's events, includes appearances from Q-Tip, Erykah Badu, and Flying Lotus discussing the creative process in the ever-changing music industry landscape. The film, which premiered in over 60 cities around the world this month, is streaming above.
