According to Page Six, R. Kelly could be facing jail time if he fails to show up for a child-custody hearing on March 27, having previously been a no-show at court in November. Last Thursday (February 13), the singer's ex-wife Andrea Kelly filed court papers for absent child support payments ($23,833/month). The paper claims that Kellz previously fell behind in payments—over $100,000—but has since paid that balance off.
More from Page Six:
"The judge was clear in November that he wasn’t happy R. Kelly didn't show up," said a source. "His lawyer [James Quigley] is worried the judge could lock Kelly up if he doesn’t show this time, but he can’t reach his client."
